The Nero of Australia?

Dear Editor,

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison's decision to press ahead with Sydney's firework display (i December 30th page 6) is entirely apt. The world may well be watching but where he sees "resilience" and "success", many of us will see a Nero figure, celebrating the burning of his country's coal, forests and eventually people.
